A super-concentrated source of antioxidants, 1g of freeze-dried is equivalent to 5g of fresh sprouts. 


Broccoli sprouts are incredibly nutrient-dense, containing up to 50 times the nutrients found in mature vegetable Broccoli, including 50 times more glucoraphanin (converted to sulforaphane). They are widely recognised as a chemoprotectant and nature’s richest source of sulforaphane. A growing body of evidence has linked sulforaphane to decreased inflammation markers, increased antioxidant levels, and the treatment of various different types of cancers, along with numerous other health benefits. 


♥ The Process

Freeze-drying is a complex process that freezes and then carefully removes all moisture from the product. This process protects the delicate enzymes that produce sulforaphane. Research has shown that freezing Broccoli Sprouts can increase sulforaphane content by up to three times.  Other methods of removing moisture, such as dehydrating, heat the product and destroy the myrosinase, preventing the ability to release sulforaphane.


♥ Sulforaphane

Sulforaphane is released through the process of mastication, as the cells of the Broccoli Sprouts are broken down – when the sprouts are chewed or blended. We have not blended the product in to a powder, as this would destroy the sulforaphane. Broccoli and broccoli sprout powders will generally not be able to produce any sulforaphane when consumed. 


    • Whole sprouts with ability to convert glucoraphanin to sulforaphane intact, unlike powdered formulas and many supplements.
    • Freeze-dried immediately after harvesting when sulforaphane potential at its peak and to ensure maximum freshness and nutrients. 
    • Grown organically from Soil Association certified seed.
    • Super concentrated source of sulforaphane and nutrients: 1g of freeze-dried = 5g of fresh sprouts.
    • Just need 1 teaspoon, or 5-10g as a daily dose. 


 Keep these in the cupboard and blend in smoothies, sauces and salad dressings. A delicious crunchy flavour, scatter them on top of pasta, curries, stir-fries, soups, and salads for excellent added nutrition and flavour.


These freeze-dried broccoli sprouts are grown from our own SkySprouts premium seed mix which we use to produce our best-selling Broccoli Sprouts. 


Once opened, consume within 4 weeks. Must be kept sealed to preserve shelf life.

Hi are your freeze dried broccoli sprout from Calabrese or broccoli raab? Thank you.Do they taste peppery?

Our lovely freeze-dried sprouts do taste a little peppery. At the moment they are made up of 50% Calabrese and 50% Raab. We are looking at a 100% Calabrese freeze-dried sprout in the coming months.

The best before is approximately 1 year. The size of the package is dependent on the weight.
