£12.40£49.45

Our bestselling Broccoli sprouts, carefully freeze-dried to preserve the nutrients and provide maximum sulforaphane content. Research has shown that freezing can increase the sulforaphane content by up to three times.

Broccoli sprouts are incredibly nutrient-dense, containing up to 50 times the nutrients found in mature vegetable Broccoli, including 50 times more glucoraphanin (converted to sulforaphane). They are widely recognised as a chemoprotectant and nature’s richest source of sulforaphane. A growing body of evidence has linked sulforaphane to decreased inflammation markers, increased antioxidant levels, and the treatment of various different types of cancers, along with numerous other health benefits.

A delicious crunchy flavour, scatter them on top of pasta, curries, stir-fries, soups, and salads.

Hi Judith,

We recommend 1 teaspoon or 5-10g as a daily dose.

Hi are your freeze dried broccoli sprout from Calabrese or broccoli raab? Thank you.Do they taste peppery?

Support

Hi Sofiya,
Yes, they do taste a little peppery, as they do when fresh.
At the moment they are made up of 50% Calabrese and 50% Raab, but our next batch will be 100% Calabrese seed. This should be on the website by January.
Best regards

Can you give me some idea of how large the various weight packages are please? Also what is the “shelf” life? Trying to work out what I can fit in my freezer!

Hi Helen,
The packages are fairly small, about 15cm by 15cm. The shelf life is approximately 1 year if unopened. You will have to be careful they don’t get any moisture inside of them though, if they are going in your freezer! They are heat-sealed and they contain oxygen absorbers, but be careful not to get the outer packaging wet or damp as this will cause them to absorb moisture and rehydrate, in which case they won’t keep.
I hope that helps.
Best regards
Ellisha

Hiya, just checking back in from a previous question/answer. Is your current batch a 100% Calabrese batch?

Yes, the current batch is 100% Calabrese and all future batches will be, the freeze-dried will be 100% Calabrese from now on.

Hello, I’m new to sprouts so have no clue and have a couple of questions… 1. Where do you store freeze dried sprouts? 2. Once opened how long do they last? Many thanks.

Hi Caroline 🙂

You can store the freeze-dried sprouts in a kitchen cupboard. The most important thing is to keep them away from moisture so anywhere that’s dry will be fine. We recommend using them within 4 weeks of opening.
