  2. Teresa Asplett (Verified Buyer)

This is my first time at sprouting kale. I used a bio-Snacky germinator and the seeds sprouted quickly. They must be healthy as they certainly pack a punch! Really great to eat alongside broccoli sprouts.

  3. Hilary Bucci-Pepper (Verified Buyer)

Great seeds & I recommend them. I have grown them in my geo and they make lovely microgreens, I also mix them with a few other seeds for sprouting. They take about 4-5 days sprouting depending on how big you like them and they are very tasty. I am about to make my next purchase

  4. Rubina Khan (Verified Buyer)

Am an absolute beginner at this. These were very easy to grow within a few days they sprouted and were ready to eat. The flavour is very strong. No wastage.

  5. Lisa Howarth (Verified Buyer)

I bought these as micro-greens and popped a few in compost, and some into my sprouting seeds jar as usual… Within 3 days, every seed was ready to eat from my sprouting jar, gorgeous and light flavour on salad with some avocado and cucumber..YUM. Those i popped in compost are very happy – have just popped their heads up after 4-7 days. beautifully healthy and i will chop them off when they reach about an inch or so high, and see if they taste any different when deep green… Brilliant purchase.. Virtually 100% spouting success rate!, and taste wonderful too :)

Growing Instructions

How to Grow As Sprouts

  1. Rinse 1 tablespoon of kale seeds thoroughly.
  2. Place the seeds in a jar and cover with a few inches of water. Let soak for 6-8 hours.
  3. Drain the water and rinse the seeds. Place the jar in a cool, dark place.
  4. Rinse and drain the seeds twice a day for 3 days.
  5. Once sprouted, place the jar in indirect light to develop the leaves.

Tips: Ensure the seeds are well-drained after each rinse to prevent mould.

How to Grow As Microgreens

  1. Spread the kale seeds evenly over a tray filled with soil or a growing medium.
  2. Lightly press the seeds into the soil and mist with water.
  3. Cover the tray with a lid or another tray to create darkness.
  4. Water daily and keep the tray in a warm, dark place for 3-4 days.
  5. Once the seeds have sprouted, move the tray to a location with indirect light.
  6. Harvest the microgreens when they have developed their first true leaves.
