Hi, Can the seeds be also used to grow mature plants?
I have got some non split ones and wondered what the benefit of the split ones are or why they are split?
Many thanks
Stella

Hi Stella 🙂

Yes you can use this coriander seed to grow mature planets. Split coriander seeds are faster at germinating than whole coriander seeds which is why we prefer them. Coriander seeds grow in a pod, with around 3 seeds in each pod and split coriander seeds are just when the pod has been separated.

Hello, I bought a packet from you. I would like to know the best way to germinate split coriander seeds? (Jar or tray). Do I need to soak them? How long for? Than you.

Hi Fabienne,

I have found the best way to germinate coriander microgreens is to plant them in a well-moistened medium (soil or coconut coir), cover them to keep out the light, and don’t water them until after they have germinated. Once their leaves begin to show remove the cover and place in the light. Keep the medium moist but not soggy! You can also use these seed for planting in your garden 🙂

I hope this info helps.

Best wishes,
Kelda

Incredible product. I find it so hard to buy fresh so these are very accessible. I have endometriosis so it's a great way to get extra nutrients in and support my hormones!

Excellent range of really fresh seeds for sprouting. Go ahead and buy the big bags, as the seeds remain viable for more than a year. The blends are tasty and I especially like the alfalfa and fenugreek. Delivered very promptly.

The five stars are for the product. Germinated quickly after a 4-6 hour soak and ready in 3 to 4 days. Good comms with SkySprouts throughout purchase. Good website with info on potential benefits of each product. Delivery not the quickest but that was down to DPD not SkySprouts. I'd like information on the packets and serving suggestions. But that would be icing on an already excellent cake! Happy customer.

After some mixed results growing vegetables in the garden (mainly due to the efforts of slugs and snails), I thought I would try sprouting seeds indoors. I have found them to be very easy to grow, and they taste good. SkySprouts have been a great supplier: with good prices and plenty of useful information about getting started.

This was my first time ordering seeds online. The process was easy, fast and friendly. The pricing is competitive compared with buying from health shops and good value for money. I have only started sprouting two of the packets so far but the seeds look lovely, healthy and are growing well :-) Thank you. Jackie G, Biggin Hill
