Pea sprouts are one of our favourite ‘beanie’ sprouts. They taste much like fresh peas, juicy and sweet. We like to snack on them raw. They are a lovely vibrant green and add a great colour and crunch to dishes. We use them as an alternative to Chickpeas or Mung in cooked dishes like tomato sauce and courgetti. This seed can also be used to grow Golden Pea Shoots, or Micro-Greens. See growing tips under FAQs for more info.
100g of beans will produce approximately 250g of sprouts in 2 – 3 days.

Have a question?
Can I use these dried unsprouted peas in soups and stews? I’m just looking for further ways to use them throughout the winter months
Hi Nell,
I think you probably could do if you soak them for a few hours before before cooking. Generally, they are said to be much less digestible unless soaked though, so I would just stick them in a pan overnight to soak, before cooking the next day. We only sprout them for 3 days in the summer, so 12 hours of soaking will probably be plenty to soften them before cooking.
can these be grown as peas rather than just shoots
Will you post/courier to France if I pay the costs on bulk orders please?
Hi Richard,
Can you drop us a quick email at [email protected] and we can see if we can help you. Many thanks
Do you ship to Mexico?
Hi Mike, I’m afraid we don’t ship to Mexico.
Had some lovely pea shoots off our first batch which we harvested this week, I’m curious though what is the variety of the peas, I’ve seen speckled, dunn, snow varieties advertised elsewhere but am wondering if these are different to those? Thanks.

I didn’t follow instructions and put these, after soaking in the sprouted. They germinate quickly and they are great! I tried to grow them as micro greens, no luck , think it must be me! probably too impatient??

i love these and use them for both sprouts and shoots. They are excellent quality and I get good results every time. Will definitely re-order as I permanently have a jar and a tray or two on the go.

I bought these for growing pea plants from as well as for sprouting and they are doing great so far – I see that in the latest batch they have switched to smaller peas, but I don’t yet know whether they will be dwarf plants on the allotment. In fact as well as the top quality of their products for sprouting with effectively 100% germination rate (so no mung bean ‘stones’ in your mouth, ever) I always if possible choose their products over commercial seeds for this as they consistently out-perform them. I sow rocket in patches on the allotment and have just harvested the first Rambo radishes which are fabulous, yet (for me) a consistent failure with seeds from eg Wilko et al (NB the China Rose give longer white radishes which did not work for me). Also embarrassingly generous customer service the second there is the slightest problem – I shall not be accepting any more discounts in future inc for writing this review! 🙂
