  1. Frances G (Verified Buyer)

I didn’t follow instructions and put these, after soaking in the sprouted. They germinate quickly and they are great! I tried to grow them as micro greens, no luck , think it must be me! probably too impatient??

  2. Jill Groves (Verified Buyer)

Seeds arrived very quickly. First batch already growing and looking good. Can’t wait to harvest them. So far so good

  3. Anita (Verified Buyer)

I bought 6 different seeds and they all seems healthy and growing fast. . Thanks a lot for your great customer service.

  4. Janet (Verified Buyer)

i love these and use them for both sprouts and shoots. They are excellent quality and I get good results every time. Will definitely re-order as I permanently have a jar and a tray or two on the go.

  5. Jon Pendrous

I bought these for growing pea plants from as well as for sprouting and they are doing great so far – I see that in the latest batch they have switched to smaller peas, but I don’t yet know whether they will be dwarf plants on the allotment. In fact as well as the top quality of their products for sprouting with effectively 100% germination rate (so no mung bean ‘stones’ in your mouth, ever) I always if possible choose their products over commercial seeds for this as they consistently out-perform them. I sow rocket in patches on the allotment and have just harvested the first Rambo radishes which are fabulous, yet (for me) a consistent failure with seeds from eg Wilko et al (NB the China Rose give longer white radishes which did not work for me). Also embarrassingly generous customer service the second there is the slightest problem – I shall not be accepting any more discounts in future inc for writing this review! :-)

Growing Instructions

How to Grow Pea Shoots

  1. Soak a cup of Pea Shoot Seeds in cold water for 8-12 hours.
  2. Drain and spread evenly on a growing tray filled with any growing medium such as organic soil or coir discs.
  3. Mist the growing medium with water to keep it moist.
  4. Place tray in a location with indirect sunlight.
  5. Water daily to keep the growing medium moist but not waterlogged.
  6. Harvest in 7-14 days when shoots are 2-4 inches tall.

Tip: Pea shoots like cooler temperatures, so avoid direct sunlight. For better taste and texture, harvest before they grow too tall.

How to Grow Pea Sprouts

  1. Soak the Seeds: Begin by soaking a cup of Pea Shoot Seeds in cold water for 8-12 hours to activate the germination process.
  2. Drain and Rinse: After soaking, drain the water using a mesh sieve or sprouting lid. Rinse the seeds thoroughly with cold water.
  3. Place in Sprouting Jar: Transfer the rinsed seeds to a sprouting jar, covering the top with a sprouting screen or mesh fabric.
  4. Initial Placement: Place the jar in a cool, dark location, such as a kitchen cupboard, for the first 24 hours.
  5. Regular Rinsing: Rinse the seeds 2-3 times per day with cold water. After rinsing, make sure to drain all excess water.
  6. Check Progress: Start checking for sprouts after 2 days. The sprouts are ready to harvest usually between 2-5 days, depending on your preference for sprout size.
  7. Harvest: Once ready, remove sprouts from the jar and give them a final rinse. Drain thoroughly.
  8. Enjoy: Your pea sprouts are now ready to eat or store. If storing, place them in an airtight container and refrigerate.

These seeds yield approximately 2:1, meaning you’ll get about 2 cups of sprouts for every cup of seeds.
